The Gateway from the Wormhole

So.

Yesterday I received an anon ask on my selfship tumblr. It asked me if I shipped with a Nazi. My first thought was...you gotta narrow it down.

Was this an anti mad I had a bond of Dukat? Of John (Either of them), or Wilhelm? Was this about the Empire/FO in Star Wars? But it hit me...I miss the old school Soulbonding community. I miss Livejournal. I miss letting headmates talk about stuff. This community, it feels, died with LJ.

That Ask made me realize how young Selfshipping skews, and how the anti community is pretty pervasive in it. I'm "problematic" because Laf is 20 and I'm 31, and Wilhelm was in the German army during WWII and Dukat (and John, and William, and Charles, and others) are canonical rapists. I'm too old for this shit. Microblogging platforms like Tumblr and Twitter and Tiktok just aren't for me for a community and for expressing who we are. Puritanical nonsense ruins communities and the internet experience and I'm not here for it.

So there's like three of you I still talk to, so I'm back babey.

I've got a CHECKLIST of things I want to get done before we start posting proper:

• Layout with a DS9 header  DONE, but I've scrapped the DS9 header until I get more used to the CSS styling of DW
• Links List with where else I can be found DONE
• Icons for everyone DONE though if other people want to interact I'll keep loading up the old photoshop CS2
• Bond list (this likely will be a forever WIP but get the husbands, partners, and key players in)
• Important date list (Also a forever WIP but this will be a backup of my B'Days app LOL) DONE

In all honesty I probably won't start tonight because I'm exhausted. It took me 15 minutes to get my garage door open tonight and I just need to curl up with Stardew Valley and chips. But I am aiming to get this done by Sunday evening.
